I feel the warm glow of Hopeful Change washing over me already, like a glow of rapture from the Obamamessiah.

"Some people don't think we need to change this country. Well, they don't talk to the same folks I do. They should tell that to the college professor who has been working to change this country for three decades, and only regrets he didn't do more. They should tell that to the Princeton Graduate who works as a diversity consultant, who believes we live in a mean country, and who has only really felt proud since my campaign took off. They should tell that to the preacher who every day drives through a gated white community of million-dollar mansions, while his flock lives in ramshackle housing built by Rezko. They should tell that to the people I talked to in San Francisco, who look out across the heartland of this nation and see people with antipathy towards those who aren't like them.
